I guess I have two reasons for putting this little tribute up. The first is to express my admiration for my Dad and all he achieved in his life (there will be much more on other pages) and the second must be a bit of attempted personal reflection; my own 70th birthday was rather a non-event and I'm just trying to enjoy what Dad did.
The picture above appeared in the Northampton Chronicle and Echo on Wednesday 21st January 1976, two days after Dad's birthday, the next page shows the article and text that went with it.
